Early Life and Family
I am originally from Camden, New Jersey, where my journey began with a vibrant and adventurous spirit. My husband, Sergeant First Class (retired) Quentin (Q) D. Jackson, hails from Florida. We have built a fulfilling life together, enriched by our diverse backgrounds. Our two sons were both born in Virginia—our oldest while I was stationed there, and our youngest after I transitioned out of the military.

After a rewarding 12 years stationed in Alaska, we decided to relocate to New Jersey. This move was motivated by our desire to be closer to family, especially my parents. The transition from Alaska, where we embraced the beauty and challenges of the state, to New Jersey has strengthened our family bonds and provided us with the opportunity to focus on family while continuing to pursue our professional passions. Throughout these changes, Q has been a steadfast source of support, and his encouragement has been instrumental in navigating our life together. My sons remain a profound source of joy and motivation, inspiring me every day to strive for
excellence and balance in all that I do.

Education and Career
My career has been a blend of passion and perseverance. With a strong foundation in business and human resources, I have devoted my career to empowering women and youth through coaching and mentorship. I hold a PhD in Entrepreneurship and Business Administration from the Trinity International University of Ambassadors (TIUA) School of Business, a Master of Professional Studies in Human Resources and Employment Relations from The Pennsylvania State University (PSU), and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Strayer University. My academic journey has earned me recognition in Delta Gamma Chi (PSU), Alpha Sigma Lambda National Honor Society, and The National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

As a small business owner, I run a business focused on books, coaching, and travel, which allows me to integrate my love for reading, writing, and adventure into my professional life. My career also includes a successful transition into the civilian workforce, where I have made significant contributions recognized with awards like the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award, the President’s Bronze Volunteer Service Award, and the Achievement Medal for Civilian Service.

Entrepreneurship and Advocacy
In addition to my role at Professional Pulse Magazine, I am the founder of Dream Venture, a travel business dedicated to creating enriching experiences. My work in this area reflects my commitment to travel as a means of personal and professional growth. I also advocate for minority representation and empowerment, drawing from my experiences as a minority in the business world.

Creative and Professional Achievements
My creative pursuits include authoring a chapter in Turning Your Pain Into Purpose and contributing to Joy 365, where I’ve shared my insights and experiences. I am also excited about upcoming projects, including a magazine section focused on the contributions of female military Greeks and a travel article aimed at inspiring women to recharge through travel.

In 2024, I became a certified Soldier Coach through the Military Women's Coaching Certification hosted by Soldiers To Sidelines and powered by the Wounded Warrior Project. I coordinated and spoke at the Build Your Own Table Global Conference, completed the Milestone Circle program with the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center, and was featured twice in Times Square once as a proud Milestone Circle graduate and the second feature with many Joy 365 authors. The Virtual Women’s Summit 2024, which took place on August 10, 2024, was a resounding success, featuring phenomenal guest speakers and inspiring sessions.

Continuous Learning and Growth
I am constantly seeking ways to enhance my skills and knowledge. My dedication to growth is evident in my ongoing projects and professional roles. I believe in the importance of continuous learning and the power of shared experiences to drive personal and professional development.

Balancing Life and Work
Balancing my multiple roles as a business owner, magazine contributor, and advocate requires resilience and dedication. My family remains my greatest inspiration, motivating me to pursue my passions and make a positive impact in the world.
